Heritage Park

Heritage Park is the culmination of a six year planning and design process.

Due to the sensitive historical nature of the site, its importance to the local community and its close proximity to the park, the developers recognised the need to work closely with the local authority and other interested parties to protect its integrity, while maximising its potential and preserving its unique heritage for future generations.

The development will be completed in two stages.

Stage one will see the sympathetic conversion of the existing and original Victorian houses into eleven spacious and well appointed 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 3 bedroom penthouses. Built in the 1850’s, these imposing gothic style villas are of substantial proportions and will provide spacious and desirable accommodation. These buildings have a historical significance which resonates locally and nationally and key elements of the development will be used to memorialise that.

Stage two will involve the construction of Mallory Mews, consisting of seven 4/5 bed three-storey townhouses, and also Park Side Apartments, consisting of twenty-one 1 & 2 bed purpose built apartments within the picturesque 1.5 acre site adjoining the park. This secluded community will benefit from its close proximity to the park and also its excellent transport links to nearby shopping, leisure and economic centres of Liverpool and Chester.

Birkenhead Park

Birkenhead Park is the jewel in Wirral’s
crown and its protected status, character and
charm will continue to provide an idyllic
backdrop to the Heritage Park development for generations to come.

The Park’s recent submission to Unesco as a World Heritage Site underlines its historical importance and the significance of its global reputation.

When the park was built in 1847 it was funded through a real-estate model. Parcels of land around the perimeter were sold to wealthy merchants looking to build private homes away from the city.

The “Proximity-Principal” was a great success and is the reason for much of the impressive architecture that gives the park such character today.

The attraction of park-side living is as genuine today as it was then and it is fitting that Heritage Park is using the same principals to preserve and create it’s own history.
